The announce was given last April by Urban Expositions, producers of SOFA CHICAGO. The launch of their newest fair – FORM – took place at the beginning of December, in Miami during Art Week.

The invitation-only fair showcased a highly curated selection of 25 international galleries displaying the very best in the applied arts.

FORM took place in a new venue located at Washington Avenue and 17th Street. This iconic venue, located just steps from the Miami Beach Convention Center and designed by renowned architect Morris Lapidus, made FORM a premier destination for the Art Basel Miami Beach collecting crowds.

“We are thrilled to launch FORM in Miami this December to create a destination for the very best in the applied arts and sculptural objects.” said Donna Davies, Vice President of Urban Expositions’ Art Group. “With more than two decades of experience producing fairs, including SOFA CHICAGO, we’re looking forward to bringing a fair dedicated to this exciting genre to Miami.”

FORM SELECTS

FORM also features the Selects program which is a proven favorite of collectors at SOFA and Art Palm Springs. Favorite fair pieces will be chosen by noted designers, curators, and critics.

FORM Selects brings the voice of these noted tastemakers directly to the FORM audience, allowing visitors to understand why particular pieces are of note by these masters in their fields.

The Fair also presents a very interesting group of jewelry artists and designer like Iris Bodemer, Elin Flognman, Susanne Elstner, Brigitte Bezold.
